Wanted to drop a fun little Halloween creepy creature that you could put into a horror themed DnD campaign, hope you like it, I have a few more in the pipeline!

Long after the last candle flickers out in the depths of Candlekeep, a presence stirs among the forgotten stacks. Scholars whisper of a figure cloaked in shadow, its face obscured by the folds of a tattered hood, its voice a rasp of ancient pages turning.

Centuries ago, a lorekeeper named Thalor Venn delved too deeply into the forbidden tomes of Candlekeep. Obsessed with unlocking the secrets of immortality, Thalor performed a ritual that bound his soul to the library itself. But the spell twisted his essence, transforming him into a wight—neither living nor dead, cursed to wander the archives forever.

Now known as the Candlekeep Wight, Thalor haunts the restricted sections, luring curious minds with whispers of lost knowledge. Those who follow the voice often vanish, their names erased from the records, their souls trapped in spectral pages.
